Sage Stallone received a private funeral Saturday in in Brentwood, CA.
The service took place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church and was attended by the 36-year-old’s family, including his father, Sylvester Stallone, TMZ reports.

Stallone’s death has been under investigation since his body was discovered July 13. Stallone’s mother, Sasha Czack, has speculated prescription drugs her son received after undergoing oral surgery may have been involved, though officials have not named a cause of death, and stressed toxicology tests may take as many as six weeks to come back.
